However, the information on France seems inaccurate. Jacques Soustelle was a staunch supporter of Israel, as president of the Alliance France-Israël. But he was not an army general, and never worked in De Gaulle's government, having been part of a OAS coup against him. He was never minister of atomic energy. I assume there is a confusion here with Gaston Palewski, who was in charge of atomic energy in the government formed by De Gaulle's prime minister George Pompidou (a traitor for other reasons). The information should be checked directly into Bar Zohar's book.

And if you’re going to carp on Earle Cabell’s sibling connection to Charles, you can’t ignore Shimon Peres’ connection to Gershon, a Mossad agent, who was on the BOD of CMC since 1967. It’s good to see more exploration of these covert politics, and makes many wonder how Arnon Milchan, as an Israeli spy, might have reacted if Stone’s “JFK” had gotten into it.

What I am doing is showing what Kennedy's policy was there and how it differed from Eisenhower--in regards to Nasser-- and how LBJ will radically change that policy overall. For the worse and leading to the Six Day War which was a milestone in negativity. That was would not have happened if Kennedy had lived.
