Jim,

I have been in touch with Robert Groden, via Janet, about the interview with Mrs. Reid. He now understands that this was indeed Mrs. Robert Reid who did previously testify. I find it hard to believe that someone seeking to deceive him would choose a fake woman who was twenty years too old (and eighty year-olds rarely engage in that sort of thing unless they are called Ruth). His answer to my query about Mrs. Reid's health also seemed authentic as he passed up an oppportunity to dissimulate.

In case it is of interest to you, I can attach some comments from the email exchange on this matter.

Yes, go ahead. Send it to my contact at Kennedys and King email. Thanks.

Jim, I have long considered you and Groden the two most trustworthy authorities on Jfk. Yet, you seem to be suggesting that Groden may have falsified the Babushka photographic evidence. Have I misunderstood you? Also, it is unclear whether you believe Braden's explanations or not.

No I do not think Bob did that at all.

As per Braden, I tend to believe his latter day statements as to why he was there and what he was doing.

Many thanks Jim. Not sure if this is the right place for other subjects, but I would be interested in your thoughts about Oswald's blue jacket. He was seen with it leaving Depository and then rental room, but not in theatre. Then it reappeared in lunchroom.

Interesting is it not. One of those things that was never explained. would hve to look into it before I venture an answer.

A related question would be how Oswald got so quickly from his lodgings to the theatre. Putting together the info from landlady Roberts and Butch Burroughs, he did the journey in about four minutes.
